Come and see us and be part of the magic

Come and visit us at Bristol Blue Glass

Glassblowing demonstrations

It is free to come in and watch the glassmakers in action at our studio and there is no need to book if your group is under 10 in number. The glassmakers are a friendly bunch and will be happy to answer your questions as they work. Normal blowing times are from 10am - 4pm with breaks at 11am, 3pm and lunchtime. If you want to know more, please call or email us using the contacts at the top of this page.

Guided glassblowing demonstrations

For groups of 10 and over, our group visits are a great way to learn about the magical material "glass". You will get a fascinating insight into how we make our products together with some guided demonstrations of some of our pieces being made. We provide an entertaining and interesting talk about the history of glass, from its origins over 4,500 years ago, right up to its use in the present day. The talk also includes an amusing potted history of our famous city of Bristol.

For larger groups booking is essential. Please contact us to make a booking.

Blow your own bauble

We also offer a special "Blow Your Very Own Bauble" visit. You can do this on your own, as a couple or a group, or you can even do it as a group with an added talk and guided demonstration too! We will show you how to blow glass and you can then make your very own bauble which you can later keep (once its cooled and ready). It's all perfectly safe and great fun, at just £25 per person! If you factor in that our standard blue glass bauble costs £18 to buy then this represents incredible value!

Our bauble-blowing experience is very popular with our customers and its a great way to spend some time. To purchase this experience just go HERE and on completion you will receive a downloadable voucher that can be used to make your booking. Booking is essential for the bauble blowing experience, so please call on 01179720818,or email, to check availability first.

Parking and level access to the studio is available.
