Bristol Blue "Aurora" Glass Vases

A very special collection of silver blue glass vases. A glossy and shiny pattern on the surface of is achieved by adding silver oxide to the molten glass. As the silver oxide is heated it reacts with oxygen to produce a beautiful silvery-blue pattern on the surface, all by itself. This creates an iridescent effect where the glassware colours appear to change in hue and tone when viewed at different angles. The creation of the pattern is an entirely natural phenomenon and no two patterns are ever the same. You are therefore buying a totally unique product.
